Upper Darby High School Athletic Event Procedures

The Upper Darby School District is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, students, and community members during our Athletic events. With this in mind, the following procedures and expectations will be enforced during every evening Athletic event held on the campus of Upper Darby High School.
All spectators understand that the Central League and Upper Darby High School strive to promote good sportsmanship and a positive environment at all athletic events. Inappropriate language or actions, racial or sexist comments, or those meant to demean athletes, coaches, officials, event staff, or other spectators is grounds for immediate dismissal. All spectators will respectfully support both teams.
Spectator Requirements

Adult/Community Admittance (Home and Visitor fans)

All adults must present a valid Government/State-issued ID to purchase a ticket and enter.

Have valid ID scanned upon entrance to populate an attendance list
UDHS Student Admittance

All students must present a valid ID to purchase a ticket and enter.

No student who appears on the active Expulsion/Suspension list will be permitted to purchase a ticket.

A student with insufficient Royal Points will not be allowed to buy a ticket. Royal Points can be checked in a student's Home Access Center.
Visitor Student Admittance

All visiting students must present a valid student ID from the participating school.

There will be no admittance of students from schools not participating in the contest.

If a visiting student does not have a student ID, they must follow the same requirements for “Adult/Community Admittance.”

If a student would like to attend an event and does not have a Pennsylvania State ID, they must be accompanied by their Parent or Guardian for the duration of attendance.
Students Grades K-8 in UDSD Schools

Must be accompanied by parent or guardian for the duration of attendance.

Multiple students per adult are permissible.

Stadium and Gymnasium Rules

- All regular season tickets to UDHS athletic events are $5 (children under three
years old are free) -
Bookbags and outside food/drink are not permitted
- We will not store book bags for any reason

No re-entry

No entry after the start of “Half-Time”

DESIGNATED STUDENT SECTION (DSS)

Students must sit in designated student sections at Upper Darby events

Student sections are monitored for behaviors consistent with the UDSD Code of Character

In the stadium, the DSS is in the lower left level of the Home Bleachers. It will be marked with signage. Visitor students will sit in the Visitors’ (Away) Bleachers

In the Main Gym, students will sit in the first section of bleaches to the left once entering the gym. It will be marked with signage.

Upper Darby School District is a smoke-free environment. There is to be no smoking or vaping on school district grounds or at school events

No one who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may attend a
High School event
Anyone asked to leave the premises for violation of campus or event rules must do so at the direction of the administration in charge. Individuals removed for violation of community standards will not receive a refund and may be barred from future Upper Darby School District events.
