Jason McDermott is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching and Athletics administration. He currently serves as a high school math teacher and the assistant athletic director at Upper Darby High School, where he manages the Master Athletics Schedule. His educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Elementary Education from Wilkes University, as well as a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Saint Joseph's University. His teaching career began in 2002 as a 5th grade teacher at Bayside Elementary School. Since then, he has taught kindergarten at Bluford Elementary School, 6th grade at Whittier Elementary School, and 7th grade math at Drexel Hill Middle School. In 2008, he joined Upper Darby High School. In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family, umpiring, working out with friends, and playing disc golf.
