The Upper Darby School District is a community of neighborhoods. Its residents reflect a great diversity of ethnic, cultural and language backgrounds with over 83 birth countries and 99 home languages represented by our students. The District serves almost 1,500 students in the English Language Learner program. The top five home languages, in the order of languages most spoken by our families, are as follows: English, Spanish, Bengali, Urdi, Arabic and Vietnamese. To ensure that all of our families are able to engage with content on the Community Bulletin Board and to benefit from the resources therein, all documents submitted must be translated into each of the aforementioned languages.
