The arts play a prominent role at Garrettford Elementary School. Concerts include the chorus, as well as instrumental concerts featuring the 100 plus students who receive weekly instrumental lessons. Instrumental instruction begins in third grade and fourth and fifth grade musicians are invited to participate in the band and orchestra. We also have a tremendous choral program. Through our choral program, boys and girls grow to be confident singers who go on to perform with various middle school ensembles and continue success in the high school vocal groups.  Several of our boys and girls have auditioned and perform with the Philadelphia Boys and Girls choruses.
