"Gritty Not Pretty."

This is Jason Krauth's third year with the Upper Darby Boys' Lacrosse team. He served as the Assistant Coach in 2022. This is Coach Krauth's third year as a school counselor at Upper Darby High School. Coach Krauth graduated from Springfield Township High School in Montgomery County where he played four years of Varsity Lacrosse. He then went to Penn State University where he earned a B.S. In Human Development and Family Services. Coach Krauth then began his journey in education as a Child Care Educator. He also was an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Springfield Township High School from 2012-2014. He then traveled with the PGA TOUR, watching the players' children while they golfed. During that time, he began earning his M.S. in School Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy University. Coach Krauth looks forward to continuing the proud legacy of Royal's lacrosse and putting the program in position to compete with the best teams in the Central League. 

Bob Capozzoli

Assistant Coach (Boys' Lacrosse)

This is Bob Capozzoli’s second year as the assistant coach/defensive coordinator for the Upper Darby Boys’ Lacrosse team. He is also the Black Bear Lacrosse Club 2030 assistant coach/defensive coordinator and previously coached 7th/8th grade lacrosse for the Stafford Lacrosse Association in Stafford County, Virginia.

Coach Capozzoli teaches 2nd grade for the School District of Philadelphia. He graduated from West Chester University where he earned a B.S. in Education. He currently attends graduate school at Kutztown University for Multicultural Education.

Coach Capozzoli has played lacrosse for Kutztown University’s club team as well as Senior level box lacrosse for the Philadelphia Mustangs (NABLL) and Philadelphia Phunk (IBLA). He Played for the British Virgin Islands's Lacrosse Team at the 2023 Heritage Cup. Coach Capozzoli looks forward to building the Upper Darby Lacrosse program into a contender in the Central League and growing the game of lacrosse in Upper Darby.
