Payment Information

  • School Tax Bills are mailed to property owners on or about July 1st of each year.  

     There are 3 options to make a payment:

    All payments are to be made payable to:  Upper Darby School District.

    No payments will be accepted at any UDSD office or Wells Fargo branch.

     

    To make an online payment go to:   www.e-billexpress.com/ebpp/UpperDarbySD.

    You will be responsible for all credit card processing fees.

    The Upper Darby libraries will allow residents to use the public computers

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. To pay by mail- If a receipt is required, please include both copies of the bill and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

     Mail your payment to: Upper Darby School District, P.O. Box 13925, Philadelphia, PA 19101.

        Your bill must be mailed in with your payment. 

    1. Failure to receive a bill does not entitle the taxpayer to a discount or remission of penalty on taxes.
    2. If paying the bill in full, you have the following alternatives:
    3. Pay the DISCOUNT amount by 8/31/2022, for a 2% discount.
    4. Pay in full at the FLAT amount from 9/1 - 10/31/2022.
    5. Payments received after 10/31/2022 are subject to a 10% penalty and must be paid by 1/31/2023.
    6. If you no longer own this property, return the bill to the tax office with the new property owner's information. 
    7. If serviced by a Mortgage Company, forward bill to them immediately.
    8. Make payment in EXACTamount only.

     

    Paying Installments
    All property owners will be eligible to pay their taxes in installments.

     Please note the following due dates for installment payments:

    • Installment #1 - August 31
    • Installment #2 - September 30
    • Installment #3 - October 31

     

    INSTALLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. A receipt will only be provided upon payment of all installments. If you require a receipt, please

        include A self-addressed stamped envelope with the payment of your 3rd installment.

    1. Only EXACT installment payments will be accepted. Inexact payment amounts will be returned and   

         may cause subsequent payments to be considered delinquent.

    1. Failure to make any one of the installment payments by the due date stated above will result in a

         10% penalty on each late installment.

    1. A tax payer who is delinquent by more than ten days on more than two installment payments shall be

        ineligible for the installment payment option in the following school fiscal year.

    1. Payment of all installments prior to 8/31/2022 DOES NOT entitle you to the 2% discount.

      

    After January 15, the only acceptable forms of payment (Full OR Installment) are either by CERTIFIED CHECK or MONEY ORDER.

    Any school taxes that are not fully paid by January 31 will be given to the Delaware County Tax Claim Bureau, Government Center Building, Media, PA 19063 for further disposition and collection. Delinquent taxes are subject to a filing fee and 9% annual interest (0.75% per month).  See Delinquent Taxes for more information.
