• Class of 2025 Updates

    11/20/24

    Senior Portrait retakes that were missed on 11/15/24 are rescheduled for Thursday 12/12/24. Students will keep their original appointment times! This is only for students who were originally scheduled for 12:45-2:35 pm.

     

    Homecoming Event

    This year our annual Homecoming Event will be on Monday 11/25/24 at 7:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center. Students who are attending as guests will need to have Royal Points of 85 or above. Tickets will be $5.00 per person for both students and family members. The theme this year is “Super Bowl Halftime Shows” Come see each grade level’s representation of different artists who have participated in a Super Bowl halftime show. Tickets for students will be on sale before and after school on Thursday 11/21/24 and Friday 11/22/24. Family members there will be tickets on sale at the door on Monday 11/25/24.

     

    Transcript Release

    Students will need a transcript release form to be submitted to the center for Naviance to release your transcripts to schools, colleges and universities you have identified and applied to both Naviance and Common App.

    Pep Rally

    Our annual UDHS Pep Rally will be held on Friday October 18, 2024 we will be following the Pep Rally Bell Schedule. The Band and all Fall Athletes will be dismissed to meet with their coaches and directors at 12:30 pm, prior to each grade being called down. All grades will be participating in the stadium for the Pep Rally. Seniors with an early dismissal schedule can pick up a pass to return to school and enter the stadium.

     

    Grade Level Colors for Pep Rally: Students can wear clothing that shows their grade level pride for the Pep Rally

    • Freshmen - Gold
    • Sophomores - White
    • Juniors - Purple
    • Seniors - Black

     

    Homecoming Court Voting

    Rotary Student of the Month

    Congratulations to Japneet Kaur who was recognized last week at the Upper Darby-Lansdowne Rotary. Japneet was selected to share her service experience both inside and outside of school and the community. The next student will be recognized on October 30th.

    Senior College Planning Night event on Monday 09/23/24 at 6:00 pm for parents and guardians please meet us in the PAC for an informational session to help you prepare for your student’s post secondary planning! This presentation will be specific to two and four year colleges and universities, FAFSA, Naviance and the application process. There will be a virtual option for participation and we will send the link through a HAC email. The presentation will be recorded and the slide deck will be accessible on Schoology and emailed out to all students and families through HAC.

     

    We still have seniors who are unable to participate in school due to lack of MCV vaccination records. If you have received your vaccination please send a copy of your vaccination record to the school nurses at: highschoolnurse@upperdarbysd.org You can send a picture as well!

    Senior class t-shirt design submissions have been collected! A google form will be going out to students to cast their vote. Please keep your eyes on Schoology for an update. This is a time honored tradition for each senior class to select a student designed t-shirt for the class.

     

    College Rep Visits:

    The following colleges / universities will be visiting UDHS next week. Encourage your child to sign up in Naviance. This is a great opportunity to learn about the admissions process, ask questions and learn about local schools.
