Mission Statement

The mission of the Upper Darby High School Guidance Department is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that supports the academic, social, personal, and career development needs of all of its students.

Role of the Counselor

There are three counselors assigned to each "Class" and they operate out of the Class Center with an Assistant Principal, Lead Teacher, Activities Coordinator, and Secretary. This allows counselors to focus on the needs of students in one grade level and to follow them through to graduation.
