    Dyamond Gibbs is a graduate of Upper Darby High School’s Class of 2016 and a passionate advocate for youth, equity, and community justice. Dyamond is a graduate of La Salle University’s Class of 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and minors in Sociology and Public Health. She is currently furthering her academic journey in Criminal Justice and Secondary Education.

     

    Ms. Gibbs brings a wealth of experience in youth empowerment, juvenile justice, education advocacy, and community engagement. She is the Founder of The Only Pipeline, an initiative committed to providing prevention and diversion opportunities for youth impacted by the criminal justice system, including academic support and recreational activities, to keep young people on a path towards opportunity and brilliance.

     

    Ms. Gibbs has spent her career creating pathways for youth empowerment, education, and justice—always with a focus on equity and access. In her current role as a Juvenile Justice Specialist, Ms. Gibbs continues to advocate for transformative solutions for youth and families and essential resources and support systems to guide them towards success. Her service on multiple advisory boards, including the PA Human Relations Commission of Delaware County and Philadelphia, Youth Community Action Network, and the Delaware County Women’s Commission, reflects her unwavering commitment to equity across every community she serves.

     

    As a Board Member, Ms. Gibbs is honored to represent and support the youth and families of Upper Darby, and is committed to making sure every student in the district feels safe, valued, and equipped to succeed.
