Professional Biography - Dr. Timothy Lambert, Manager of Data and Information

Timothy Lambert serves as the Manager of Data and Information for the Upper Darby School District. With over 25 years of experience in public education, Tim has led and directed information technology operations at both the departmental and project levels. He began his career with the School District of Philadelphia, where he developed and managed critical operational technology systems, encompassing engineering evaluations, project management, and leadership in projections and strategic planning. Since joining Upper Darby in 2019, Tim has overseen district-wide data management, reporting to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and spearheaded enrollment projections, facility planning scenarios, and catchment adjustments.
With 28 years dedicated to technology systems and data, Tim has cultivated expertise across a broad range of disciplines, including technology implementation, data analysis, application development, enterprise database management, software testing and support, report design, GIS, boundary adjustments, and scenario planning. His specialized knowledge in geographic information systems (GIS) and strategic enrollment planning enables him to create comprehensive plans addressing educational, infrastructure, and community needs.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, a Master of Science in Information Science from Pennsylvania State University, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership & Administration (K-12) from Immaculata University. He is certified as an Engineer-in-Training and holds additional qualifications in Mathematics and Statistics, multiple Microsoft Certified Professional certifications, and credentials in enterprise database management and project management.
