    Mr. William Moore started his career in public education in 2012 after receiving a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in elementary and special education from Saint Joseph's University.  He served for several years as a special education teacher in an Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) program with the School District of Philadelphia before he joined the Upper Darby School District family in 2016 as a Learning Support Teacher at Upper Darby High School.  Mr. Moore was appointed the department chair of Upper Darby High School's Special Education Department in 2018 while he completed a second master's degree in educational leadership with principal certification from Saint Joseph's University.


    In 2022, Mr. Moore took on the role of Assistant Principal at Hillcrest Elementary School.  In 2023, he returned to Upper Darby High School as the Assistant Principal of Climate and Culture.  He is currently supporting the district as Supervisor of Special Education.  As an educational leader, he has the opportunity to serve and collaborate with the Upper Darby community in order to assist its many talented students and professionals to achieve their goals.


    At home, Mr. Moore enjoys spending time with his wife, MaryKate, and his three tenacious daughters, Remy, Emma, and Susanne.
