    Thomas Fitti began his special education career at Elwyn, Inc. in 2002, working in an alternative school setting. In 2004, he transitioned to the Upper Darby School District, working in the Upper Darby High School. Mr. Fitti taught Learning Support and Emotional Support. He also spent five years as a Coordinator of Special Education in the Upper Darby School District. In 2014, he began his administrative journey in the Downingtown Area School District. In 2017, Mr. Fitti returned home to the Upper Darby School District as a Supervisor of Special Education.

     

    Mr. Fitti supports all the Autistic Support Programs at the elementary level. He also works with the following schools: Kindergarten Center, Bywood, Garrettford, Primos, Stonehurst Hills (Autistic Support), and Westbrook Park. Additionally, Mr. Fitti oversees Early Intervention as he welcomes new students into the Upper Darby School District.

     

    Mr. Fitti obtained his undergraduate degree from Albright College located in Reading, PA. He later obtained his Master’s Degree in the area of Educational Leadership from Neumann University. He obtained his Supervisor of Special Education certificate from St. Joseph’s University. He resides in Drexel Hill with his wife, Katie Rose, and his three beautiful children, Anthony, Lauren, and Ryan. He coaches youth football and baseball.
