Welcome to Highland Park Elementary School!
Highland Park Elementary School’s mission is to provide an educational environment that creates preeminent citizens and independent learners and thinkers who are able to deal with the complexities of our changing world. Highland Park recognizes and celebrates our diversity and expects that all students will achieve their full potential in a motivating, educational environment. We attend to each student’s full range of educational needs, preparing him or her for continued learning in middle school and beyond. The cooperative efforts of dedicated staff, involved parents, wonderful students, and a supportive community help to meet that mission.
Highland Park is conveniently located on West Chester Pike in Upper Darby, PA, and serves a diverse community of approximately 800 students in first through fifth grades.
Highland Park Elementary School is unique in many ways. Our students participate in many activities, including band, chorus, Theater Arts, and an annual fifth-grade camping trip. Students are also recognized and celebrated during our Student of the Month Assembly, the annual Upper Darby Gala, and Jazz Band Exhibitions.
