Hillcrest Home & School Association Information

  • The Hillcrest Home and School Association (HSA) provides much-needed support to the school community, and runs a variety of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy! 

    Some of the activities and events sponsored by HSA are: School Tool Boxes for School Supplies, Back-To-School Social, School Dances, Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Spirit Wear Sales, and Box Tops For Education.

    • $15 per family per year 
    • Funds go right back into school for socials and to plan other fun things throughout the year.
    • Send an envelope marked HSA to the school with your payment. Please include your child's name and grade.

    Hello Hillcrest Families,
    We hope you all had a nice summer break and are excited to get back to school in a few weeks. We are looking forward to a fun year together.

    Membership dues and money raised through fundraisers support the following:

    We are the Hillcrest Home and School Association (HSA). We are volunteer school parents/guardians, who work closely with the Hillcrest principal, teachers, and staff to provide programs and fun activities for our students. These events and activities are funded solely by membership dues and fundraisers organized by the HSA. 


    • Free, fun social gatherings to build a sense community, including the Back to School Social (8/22/24) Movie Night

    • Assemblies - like the Read Across America assembly in March.

    • Gifts to the school.  Some recent gifts include: park benches, recess equipment, ukuleles for the 5th grade Music curriculum

    • Snacks during PSSA testing

    • 5th Grade yearbooks

    • Three Scholarships for Hillcrest alumni graduating from Upper Darby High School and attending college and trade school

    • Back to School Teacher Breakfast and Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

    • And more!
